Pineapple Kraut Slaw

As spring days bring us milder (well, we’ll see) weather, we’ve noticed the general excitement and vibe that “summer IS coming!” Summer for us Kiwis usually means long lazy days out in the sun, time with the family at the family bach or on holiday and of course, the food, glorious food!

This dish is a great sweet and salty addition to your next BBQ or Sunday luncheon. The best part? It’s super easy to make, and with a little creativity you can even add your own personalised embellishments to our recipe, too. You can switch up the kraut you use - like the photo above uses Amala Curry but we have also made this with Just Kraut and it was delicious!

  • ½ cup of Just Kraut or Amala Curry
  • ½ cup pineapple chunks - diced
  • Goji berries
  • Spring Onion
  • Olive Oil (optional)


  1. To prepare, combine your ingredients and give it a stir. You can refrigerate until serving if you wish or make and serve immediately. Have a play and let us know how it goes.
