Fermented Foods for Kids Inspiration


Here come the summer holidays New Zealand! For mums and dads all over the country, this also means more time at home with the little ones – so let’s get them in the kitchen, shall we?

One of the best ways to begin instilling healthy food habits now is to get your kiddos in the kitchen with you, and maybe their friends, to learn about what they’re eating. This can be done by simply hosting your own Fermented Foods Party for the kids!

Our recipes are easy and fun for the whole lot to do together. We’ve got a sample menu below for you to follow or feel free to tell us about your own ideas in the comments.

Snacking: Get the kids snacking in the kitchen while you prep your ingredients for mixing the other recipes. You can make ahead a dip like our Probiotic Guacamole or Devilled Eggs to have on hand to satiate the ravenous munchkins!
